Terms and conditions for AKWise courses
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of AKWise online courses at www.akwise.courses. By accessing or using our online courses, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Enrollment
To enroll in an online course, you need to register an account on our website. You must provide accurate and complete information during the enrolment process. Enrolment in a course is subject to availability and may be limited based on capacity. You don’t have to register multiple accounts for multiple courses.
Payment
Payment for online courses must be made in full at the time of enrolment, unless specifically otherwise agreed on between AKWise and you (contact us if you wish split payments). We accept payment through debit/credit card through Stripe, all transactions are processed securely according to Stripe policy. Prices for online courses are subject to change without notice.
Access and Usage
Upon successful enrolment and payment, you will be granted access to the online course materials for the lifetime of the course, except if otherwise noted. The exception is “Diet Checkup” which is open for 3 months after purchase. You agree to use the online course materials solely for your personal, non-commercial use and in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations. You may not share, distribute, or resell the course materials to any third party without our prior written consent.
Refunds
Once a you have accessed any portion of the online course content, including but not limited to viewing videos, downloading materials, or participating in discussions, the course fee is non-refundable.
Once you purchase a course, the course becomes accessible immediately, and you agree that this access starts within the usual EU cancelation period. By accessing the course content, you acknowledge and agree to waive your right to a refund.
Refunds are available within 14 days from the date of cancelation, subject to the following conditions:
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, and any processing fees may apply.
- You haven’t yet accessed the course in any way
Intellectual Property
All course materials, including but not limited to text, graphics, videos, presentations, and quizzes, are the intellectual property of AKWise and AKWise.courses.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the course materials without our prior written consent.
By enrolling in an online course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for personal use only.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the online courses at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice.
In the event of termination or suspension, you will lose access to the course materials and any progress or certificates associated with your account.
Disclaimer of Guarantees
While the content of our courses has been created and compiled with the utmost care in terms of accuracy of information, we make no representations or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the course materials. Our goal is to give you the best information and tools to manage your IBS or other digestive problems, however we cannot guarantee any improved outcomes. Your use of the app and any information provided are at your sole risk.
We disclaim all guarantees, including but not limited to implied guarantees of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
AKWise courses are not meant as a substitute for individualized advice from a health care professional and/or diagnosis. AKWise/AKWise courses shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our online courses.
Changes to courses
We are always looking to improve and update our courses, which means that occasionally and without prior notice we may change, expand or improve the courses. We may also at any time cease to operating part or all of the app or selectively disable certain features. Your use does not entitle you to continued availability of all features.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our online courses after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.
By enrolling in our online courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Refund Policy for Online Courses below. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions or our Refund Policy, please refrain from using our online courses.
