Diet Checkup
This will come as a surprise, but most people don’t get all the nutrients they need for their body to function optimally. Do you know if you are getting all the nutrients you need in your diet?
Potassium, magnesium, and fiber are examples of nutrients that 50% or more of people in the US don’t get enough of. And the risk of nutrient deficiency is even higher if you have diet restrictions, like following the low FODMAP diet, a ketogenic diet or any other restrictive diet.
Potassium is needed in optimal nerve function, magnesium is an important micromineral needed in a myriad of bodily processes affecting stress and sleep among many others, and fiber not only is vital for proper digestive function, but it feeds your gut microbes that keep your whole body healthy, not just your gut! With restrictions the intake of other nutrients, like iron, may become compromised as well. Iron is needed for transporting oxygen to all your body cells, without enough of it, you become anemic and fatigued.
Don’t take chances with your nutrition. Get your diet checked by an expert! Write down everything you eat and drink for three days and I give you an analysis highlighting any problems there may be and offer tips on how to improve your diet to support health and wellness in a way that fits your unique lifestyle.
Diet checkup is excellent:
- If you are not sure if your diet is providing you everything you need
- If you want to make sure your diet is optimal for longevity, healthspan and wellbeing
- If you have many illnesses and aren’t sure if your diet is the right kind considering possible changes in nutrient needs due to these illnesses and to support healing
- Even if everything is fine and you just want to make sure your diet is providing everything your body needs (nutrient deficiency creeps up slowly and you might not feel that you are missing something, until problems hit later)
I will look at your energy and nutrient balance, and other diet patterns that support gut health, wellbeing, and your specific circumstances, so that you have simple, actionable tips for you to feel your best.
Even if you are experienced in calorie counting, letting someone else analyze your diet will result in a lower risk of bias, and in turn in more accurate results. Also, calorie counting is not something everyone should do, as it can lead to obsessing over numbers that are not important, so if you let me calculate your nutrient intake for you, you won’t need to see your numbers and only get the advice that helps.
The price includes an in-depth analysis of your nutrient intake with a written report. One on one counseling is available for additional cost – just write to me at [email protected]
