It’s time to take charge of your gut, so that you are no longer a slave to your gut symptoms. It is time to invest in your most important asset – yourself!
IBSwise was born from the realization that there is a lot of misconceptions about what irritable bowel syndrome is, and no true one-stop shop to find the right information. Not only that, what has especially been missing is a place where many of the therapies shown to ease IBS symptoms are available to be explored. As a dietitian and a yoga practitioner, I have the unique opportunity to provide most of these for you in one place, here on IBSwise. Get onto the fast lane of understanding and easing your gut symptoms now.
Who is this course for?
- People with an IBS diagnosis
- People with IBS-like gut symptoms. Ideally, if you don’t have an official IBS diagnosis, you have at least been tested and no other gastrointestinal illness or problem has been found.
- At minimum, you shouldn’t be experiencing any red flags that haven’t been checked out: unexplained weight loss, very severe symptoms, vomiting, white/clay-colored/black stools, fatty stools, having to poop at nighttime, and having a family history of GI cancer, celiac disease or other severe GI disorder.
- People with relatively mild, yet annoying symptoms, that don’t give a cause for concern for anything more dangerous, even if no tests have been done.
- You can check with me if you are unsure.
- Newly diagnosed with IBS
- IBS diagnosis for years and nothing has helped
Who is this course not suitable for
- If you have an eating disorder or disordered eating, this course may not be right for you. If you have fully healed from an eating disorder, check with me here to see if this course is a good fit for you.
- The same applies if you have had any significant unintentional weight loss, as weight loss alone can cause gut symptoms. In such a case, it is important to speak with your doctor to find out what is causing you to lose weight without wanting to.
- If you have a preexisting gastrointestinal disease, such as pancreatitis, liver disease or surgery of the intestines, the reason for your gut symptoms probably stems from your condition, and the information on this website is likely not applicable to you.
